Kirby G. Horton, CLU

Kirby has been in the insurance business since 1980 and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Missouri State University, along with the Chartered Life Underwriter designation.  He has been a Vice President of National Accounts for a Fortune 300 Company, received countless sales awards and sales recognition, has been a District Manager, Sales Manager, Regional VP, sat on numerous industry and company advisory boards, and has held leadership roles in the National Association of Health Underwriters and the National Association of Insurance and Financial Professionals.   Kirby also obtained his Series 7 license.

Kirby has been instrumental in several local community solutions, where the problem is the employed and uninsured.  He brought his creativity to the table, working with the local hospitals, physicians, employers, and brokers to help solve the problem of the working uninsured.  The results have produced a win-win solution for all parties involved, from the employees on the shop floor all the way through to local hospitals’ bottom line.

Currently, Kirby sits on the Vestry at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Franklin, TN, is actively involved with the Better Business Bureau of Middle Tennessee, a member of the American Legion and is a 5 year US Navy veteran.  He brings not only his broad knowledge and experience in working intimately with all sizes of employer groups, but also a creative approach to finding solutions for whole community issues.  Combining new concepts with traditional values is Kirby’s professional passion and he is always interested in new and challenging opportunities.
